First day at Stiwdio Maelor
Very happy to be here
Got set up in my cosy attic eyrie
Shopped for basics next door at Andy and Adams
Taped a few bits (coarse jute and watercolour paper) to the freshly plastered gable end
Started with red and orange, then black, then blue, then a few marks – have to start somewhere!
Cooked a spinach and chickpea curry with brown rice
Feet up by the stove

Stiwdio Maelor Residency
I am off to Corris in North Wales for a month’s painting residency at Stwdio Maelor
I will be writing a regular blog while I’m there with images of the place and my work in progress
