thanks Tiramit, it is, that old lime plaster on that lovely old stable wall really absorbs the damp in winter and goes a pretty shade of green! So I only paint in here from March to October, even though I have a stove. Which means I generally stick to smaller, less messy works in the winter which can be made on paper at a table. One of tbe reasons that I am often quite frenetically productive during the summer months 🙂
