Hello from Canada my painter friend! Just stopped to comment and say i enjoyed your paintings you’ve shared with us! Keep up the good work I love the blog! Looking forward to your next posts!
Thanks 🙂 The wax I use is made by Gamblin (USA) and I buy it from TN Lawrence in the UK. You mix it 50% with oil paint for a rigid surface – much less wax on canvas because otherwise it could crack. It has many advantages, most importantly it dries much more quickly than oil and you can apply many layers. The greatest fun thing for me is its suitability for working fast and dynamically with squeegee and/ or roller. Have fun 🙂
I love your style of painting. The effect is amazing and so beautiful. I can almost hear the sea and smell the air.
Thanks very much 🙂
Wonderful texture!
Thanks 🙂

I love your work and it makes me want to work with cold wax, I may have to explore it.
I look forward to sharing ideas and art.
