hi Katie, these panels are so beautiful, and one of the joys to me is how they fit together so perfectly in any combination. They work so well painted together, as with this piece, across two panels, or connected,as in diptychs and triptychs, matched but separate. They are actually quite heavy, so you’re right in a sense, a single piece of 1m x 70 cm would be quite difficult to handle and indeed ship. Hoaever, this piece came to me partly because of the joint / divide. I find that it is stronger for that. Thanks for stopping by
