Busy morning. Clocks went back last night, but no one told the cats, so I got a lovely early start. Nothing like loads of new art materials to kick start a project. First two layers on a freshly stretched 80cm sq canvas, and a huge piece (160 x 220cm) stapled directly to the wooden wall.

Gorgeous red!
Thanks Scottie, its a mixture of Magenta, a light Cadmium red and transparent Cadmium orange. This forms a base coat, then there are more layers in contrasting colours, and eventually the red layer will be revealed again with solvent and scraping of marks and forms
