This large work is having a powerful effect

Here it is with lovely Seamus Quinn, who stretched and framed it.
He had to do the work at the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny, as his framing shop (which is just across the road) wasn’t big enough
Here’s a view of it being worked on a couple of days earlier
And here it is taking up all the floor space in my sitting room before I rolled it up to take it to Seamus to be stretched

My exhibition at An Grianan Theatre, in Letterkenny, county Donegal is next week and I’m making the final selections for the 50 paintings that will be included
The show is in 4 sections: Donegal, Ceide Fields (Mayo), Venice and Nepal, reflecting on the wonderful adventures I have had in the last 2 years

I am showing these 8 pieces in the ‘Affordable Art Fair’ at An Griannan in Letterkenny next month
This will in effect be an art sale, with all works being priced, as the name suggests, at lower than the usual rate for the artist. I have far too much work stockpiled at home, so I will be pricing each of these at less than 100 euro in the sale. I have to deliver them to Letterkenny by next Wednesday 29th October.

I was delighted to have these 2 paintings selected in the open submission competition at Ross Fine Art in Letterkenny, County Donegal
and then, I was even more delighted to hear that I won a subscription to a really good arts magazine, the IRISH Arts Review which I love
