February in a converted granite barn is a challenge
I love my studio
I’m glad that Spring is coming too

Some more texture and colour layers on the two new panels
each 110cm x 80cm
Very wild and windy today, had to keep leaving the srudio because the stove was smoking
Starting to bring out the shapes with small lines and dribbles and scratches revealed wirh orange peel solvent

so here they are back in my much reorganised and spacious feeling studio
applied a few more layers using baking paper to transfer the paint with a roller
then ‘ revealed’ the beginning of a couple of forms wirh solvent, blotted with tissue
scratched a bit, smoothed a bit with a squeegee
photos are rather gloomy because its dark outside and studio lights are dim

at long last a couple of hours in the studio
some works on paper finished
and 4 on canvas coming along nicely
I was supposed to be using some red today, didnt happen, maybe on Friday!
